Auch das zweite Saisonspiel konnte erfolgreich mit einem ungefährdeten Start-Ziel-Sieg gestaltet werden. Von Beginn an waren die Jungs konzentriert und begannen trotz körperlicher Unterlegenheit sowohl offensiv als auch defensiv hellwach. Das Team startete mit einem 16:4-Lauf und schaute von da an nie wieder zurück. Die aggressive Verteidigung brachte immer wieder Ballgewinne und damit verbundene gut ausgespielte Fastbreaks, die zu einfachen Punkten führten. Aber auch im Setplay konnte das Team überzeugen und immer wieder freie Würfe und Korbleger herausspielen.

The Herren 2 “Wild Bees “ran into a defensive bump at its first home game at Hardtwaldhalle. Struggling to find a good offensive balance, the “Wild Bees” defense could not find a right combination of gears to overcome the 3 point shooting of Rohrbach. Offensively trying to battle back into the game, made the defense falter on several occasions which allowed the visiting team to hold a offensive edge to come again with a victory 86:73. After a long summer wait the TG Sandhausen “Wild Bees “ Herren2 started their new season against Tauberbischofsheim with a road win of 101:80. The “Wild Bees“ began the game with their buzzing defense to have their opponents down 32:17 after the first quarter. Struggling with fouls trouble the game became a question mark with a halftime score of 46:33. But after changing their game plan and taking control of the tempo and pace of the game the Herren2 began to set the tone for the final score.
